  The Community Center is large enough for wedding receptions and banquets, however, will accommodate smaller functions, by renting only a portion of the building. The Center includes a complete kitchen, comfortable sitting area, a gymnasium and handicap accessible restrooms.

  The Blue Hill City Building is an excellent place for a company meeting. This room includes a large meeting table with additional space for forty to fifty chairs. A unisex handicap accessible restroom is available at this facility.

  The recently remodeled Golf Course Club House is an excellent place for Class Reunions. This facility includes a kitchen and bar, open seating area and handicap restrooms. Adult beverages may be purchased at this location.

  Westgate Manor has recently been remodeled to accommodate sixty people. It includes a complete kitchen, cozy sitting area with a TV, spacious area with round tables and cushioned chairs, a nice sized patio and handicap accessible restrooms. This is an excellent facility for club and organization meetings or an open house.

Blue Hill is fortunate to have several different types of medical services available.

Blue Hill Clinic – M.L.M.H. – A rural satellite facility of Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. The Blue Hill Clinic is a full-service medical facility serving the needs of area residents. For more information call 756-2141 or stop by at 102 N. Pine.

Blue Hill Care Center - a sixty two bed skilled nursing facility. Professional staff are available to provide a full array of services to meet individual needs. Amenities and services include short and long term care, rehabilitative therapies, therapeutic care, memory support and many others. Personal Care services and room are available to help maintain dignity, privacy, and freedom of choice while receiving needed assistance at an affordable price.

Blue Hill Fitness Center, Inc. - The center, located on the top floor of the golf course clubhouse at 433 N Willson St. provides members access to cardio, circuit and weight training equipment. It also provides an aerobics room. Classes are held for all ages, including educational information on nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.     HOURS: Mon – Fri: 7 am - 7 pm, Sat: 8 am - 5:30 pm. Closed Sunday.
Thramer’s carries a variety of items including fresh cut meats, produce, dairy, and baked goods along with nonperishable foods.  In addition, nonfood items such as alcohol, health and beauty products, household cleaning materials, and pet supplies are also on hand. Our town is home to a local newspaper, the Blue Hill Leader. As well as Blue Hill, The Leader, covers many of the surrounding communities. The paper is published weekly on Wednesday’s.
